Board of Directors

Andrew joined the Board in 2004, after becoming involved with Courageous Sailing Center as a volunteer fundraiser for the Courageous Challenge. He is a strong proponent of using sailing as a platform for teaching self-discipline, decision-making skills, and teamwork.

Andrew is a competitive sailor, racing out of the Corinthian Yacht Club in Marblehead. He has raced nationally and internationally in a variety of classes and was co-owner and tactician on the boat that won the 1998 International One Design North American Championship. In addition to his new role at Courageous, he is presently the President of the Corinthian Sailing Foundation, a private foundation promoting national and international sailing education and competition, Board Chair for St. Andrews Cooperative Nursery School in Marblehead, and Captain of Fleet 2 (New England) of the J/105 class.

Andrew is Chief Executive Officer and General Counsel to LawFunds, LLC, a national investment firm specializing in litigation finance. Prior to founding LawFunds, LLC, Andrew practiced law in Boston, where he focused on the defense of complex insurance actions.

Andrew and his wife, Julie, reside in Marblehead, MA with their three children, Maggie, Henry, and Will. Andrew is a graduate of Bowdoin College and Boston College Law School.
