About the event
Every June Courageous hosts the annual Party on the Pier at their Charlestown site. Located in the historic Naval Yard, Pier 4 offers unmatched views of the Boston skyline from the Zakim bridge, through downtown, and on to Fort Point Channel.
2016 was another sell out year with over 600 people coming out to enjoy the beautiful summer evening. DJ J-Wall kept the party going from 6 to 10pm. We have to thank our 2016 event partners for helping make this the best year yet!

Charlestown Afterschool Spring Sailing Program
Made possible by Party on the Pier!
Beautiful springtime weather in 2016 enabled 60 4th through 8th grade students to participate in weekly afterschool sailing programs on their home neighborhood’s scenic waterfront. Sessions were held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during the final four weeks of the school year. With the help of the coaches and members of the Boston Latin High School Sailing Team, a group of older sailors were given the opportunity to sail our 420 racing dinghies, which are used nationally by competitive high school and college programs.
