Whom will the proceeds benefit?
Courageous Sailing teaches sailing and life skills free of charge to over 1,000 Greater Boston children each year. We use sailing instruction as a platform for learning and growth, with a focus on personal responsibility, communication, teamwork, problem solving, and stewardship. All funds raised through our ticket sales, silent auction, raffle and event sponsorships go directly to support our youth programming and provide scholarships for children who wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to learn to sail.
Why are funds needed?
While Courageous provided over 30,000 hours of programming to over 1,000 children in 2015, and will provide even more in 2016, only one-third of students applying for our Summer Youth Program will be admitted into our program due to limited funding and capacity. Additional funding is needed to expand access and to maintain the high quality of our programming and fleet.
Who will be there?
Members, neighbors, volunteers, parents, young professionals, sailors from throughout the region and anyone who wants to have fun while supporting Courageous Sailing - you and your friends!
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
There is no age limit to enter the event. Drinks will be available for guests over the age of 21 with proper identification.
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?

Coming from the north or south shores? Look to your right for information on complimentary bus transportation to and from Marblehead and Marion.
What can/can't I bring to the event?
There is no place to store your personal belongings, so only bring what you will need. There is ample space under the tent, but because this is an outdoor venue, please check the weather forecast and dress accordingly.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Printed tickets are not required for individual ticket purchases.
Group tickets will be under the name of the sole ticket holder or company that purchased the tickets. When you arrive, please let the attendant at the check-in table know what group you are with.
What is the refund policy?
There are no refunds available.
