We work hard to offer a package that fits everyone’s needs but know that on occasion our existing packages don’t fit your situation perfectly.

After a few years of working with our amazing community, we were able to find a few common options that people were looking for that are not offered in our traditional format. We’ve outlined them below:

 

LTS->Core Fleet Membership Upgrade

This upgrade is designed for students who purchased a Learn-to sail-package but did not opt into our membership program.

Prerequisites

 

LTS (Learn to Sail) ->Core Fleet Family Membership Upgrade

This upgrade grants 2 family members access to the Rhodes 19 fleet with the purchase of at least one Learn-to-sail package. This is designed for someone who is purchasing 2 Learn-to-Sail packages and wants to add on membership at our introductory rate.  Alternatively, this package is perfect for someone purchasing a learn-to-sail package who has a partner at home who already knows about how to sail.

Prerequisites

  • Completion or enrollment in at least 1 Learn-to-Sail Complete course
  • Before your first sail- read through the membership packet

 

 R19-> Family Membership Upgrade

This upgrade grants access to the R19 fleet to a family member.

Prerequisites

  • Hold an active Rhodes 19 Core-Full membership
  • Before your first sail- read through the membership packet

 

R19->Mid-Fleet Cruising Membership Upgrade

This upgrade grants you access to the Mid-fleet Cruising fleet of J80s and a few pocket cruisers from our Core R19 membership.

Prerequisites

  • Hold  an active Rhodes 19 Core-Full membership
  • Yellow Flag member or higher
  • Successful completion of our “outboard engine clinic”
  • J80 check-out (yes, this is still required even if you have a R19 flag rating)
  • Please read the Cruising Member Guidelines before your check-out

 

Mid-Fleet Membership->Family Upgrade

This upgrade grants access to the Mid-Fleet Cruisers to one qualified skipper and access to the Rhodes 19 fleet to an additional qualified skipper. In an effort to maintain equal fleet access for all, only 1 skipper may be checked out to reserve our J80’s and Pocket Cruisers.

Prerequisites

  • Hold an active membership in the mid-fleet cruising fleet
  • Both skippers must pass a check-out: 1 at the J80 level and 1 at the R19 level
  • Yellow flag certification for the J80 member is required
  • Before your first sail, read through the Membership Packet & Cruising Member Guidelines

 

Mid-Fleet->Cruising Membership Upgrade

This upgrade grants access to the Cruising fleet

Prerequisites

  • Hold an active mid-fleet cruising membership
  • Yellow Flag member or higher
  • Successful completion of our cruising member check-out
  • Successful completion of the green flag navigation exam
  • Please read the Cruising Member Guidelines before your check-out
