Core Fleet Membership

Description

Courageous memberships make access to Boston Harbor easy! A Core Fleet membership allows you to sail 1 of our 27 Rhodes 19s as much as you’d like. No matter what your sailing plans, schedule, or budget is like, we’ve got a membership option for you.

All memberships include access to barbecues, racing, clinics, moonlight sails, Harbor Island camping trips, and discounts on our sailing courses. Private lessons are always 50% off for members, and courses are discounted 10%. Members are welcome to take guests sailing for no extra charge, or sail solo after passing a single-handed checkout. As a Courageous member, you’ll be a part of an enthusiastic, inclusive community of sailors – and you’ll be helping Courageous provide free and low-cost sailing opportunities for Boston kids.

Family Memberships

Our family membership works as a way for families with more than one skipper to share access to the same Rhodes 19 membership. The Family Membership includes access for two skippers. And we have an option to add a third skipper to your family membership. No more than three skippers may share a Family Membership. Each skipper must be at least 18 years of age and complete the Courageous on the water and written exams before taking out a vessel on their own. Each member has full guest privileges and is welcome to join us for all member offerings! 

Weekday Memberships

Weekday memberships grant you access to the fleet from Monday-Thursday

Prerequisites

• Learn to Sail Complete or equivalent sailing experience
• Before your first sail- read through the membership packet*

Core memberships are valid for a full year from the date of purchase. Boats are available for active members from May 1-October 31. For information on our refund policy, click here.
